Folke Estate isn’t really an estate. It’s our little corner of the world by the sea, where most days start with bread dough and end with candlelight. Folke Estate is a place to slow down. A considered escape designed for connection, simplicity, and a more intentional way of living.
We were a young couple trying to figure it all out. Teaching ourselves how to make things from scratch and falling in love with the old ways: meals made slowly, clothes mended by hand, tools passed down instead of thrown away.
So we started looking back to the women who came before us. The ones who wore aprons that carried the scent of homemade bread and firewood. Who kept bees, pickled cucumbers, and taught us that caring for a home is not small work but it is holy work. We realised that in a noisy, distracted world, the home still matters. And so we built Folke Estate, not as a brand, but as a way of living. A place where every product has a purpose. Where heirloom linen is sewn slowly. Where kitchen tools are made with wood that holds stories in its grain. Where beauty is not manufactured but grown, gathered, or made by hand.
Everything we create is rooted in our daily life - the aprons we wear while making dinner, the candles we light after the children are asleep, the bread knives we use every morning. We work closely with artisans, small-batch producers, and heritage growers to bring you goods that feel timeless.
